{"id":187006,"date":"2025-11-05T10:11:06","date_gmt":"2025-11-04T23:11:06","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/latteluxurynews.com\/?p=187006"},"modified":"2025-11-05T17:36:34","modified_gmt":"2025-11-05T06:36:34","slug":"destination-hq-signs-goodrem-as-music-fuels-charter-success","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/latteluxurynews.com\/2025\/11\/05\/destination-hq-signs-goodrem-as-music-fuels-charter-success\/","title":{"rendered":"Destination HQ signs Goodrem as music fuels charter success"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>Delta Goodrem<\/strong> will sail with <strong>Destination HQ <\/strong>in August 2027 on a <strong>PONANT <\/strong>charter from Venice to Malta, <strong>Managing Director Stuart Ingram<\/strong> has revealed as he confirmed the Melbourne-based agency is firmly focused on expanding its charter cruise operations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The revelation follows Destination HQ&#8217;s inaugural charter voyage with <strong>Coral Expeditions<\/strong> to the Spice Islands earlier this year, a voyage which Ingram described as a resounding success but said also provided valuable lessons.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cOne thing we realised on that first charter was the importance of having the right entertainment on board,\u201d he told <strong><em>LATTE<\/em><\/strong>. \u201cWe learned quickly that we needed the best talent to create the right atmosphere.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/latteluxurynews.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/01\/PHC-OceanExplorerArrival11_2021-10-19-115011_ulstein-1132x560-1.jpg\" alt=\"Destination HQ cruise\" width=\"1132\" height=\"560\" loading=\"lazy\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p>As a result, Destination HQ has used its entertainment industry connections to secure major Australian performers for upcoming voyages. In 2026, the company will operate two additional charters: one in May with <strong>AmaWaterways<\/strong> and another in November with <strong>Quark Expeditions<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cWe\u2019ve got <strong>Daryl Braithwaite<\/strong> signed for our <strong>Quark Expeditions<\/strong> charter in May, and <strong>Kate Ceberano<\/strong> for our <strong>AmaWaterways<\/strong> cruise aboard the double-width <em>AmaMagna<\/em> in August,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>With Goodrem already confirmed for 2027, Ingram confirmed that talks are underway over signing another big name artist for an Antarctica charter that same year with details to be revealed shortly. &#8220;We\u2019ve really found a niche that works for us,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The charter concept, Ingram says, evolved naturally from Destination HQ\u2019s small-group touring background. \u201cWe started with six people, then 30 or 40. That core group loves travelling together and having our team alongside them. Now they want more \u2014 two or three trips a year \u2014 so we\u2019ve added music and entertainment into the mix.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/latteluxurynews.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/AmaMagna-1132-x-560.png\" alt=\"Destination HQ cruise\" width=\"1132\" height=\"560\" loading=\"lazy\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p>The Quark voyage to Antarctica aboard <em>Ocean Explorer<\/em> will cater to 110 guests while the <em>AmaMagna<\/em> sailing is capped at 160, rather than the full capacity of 198, to ensure a more spacious sailing, according to Ingram.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Solo travellers will also be a key focus. Aboard <em>Ocean Explorer<\/em>, Destination HQ will increase the number of solo cabins from four to 10. \u201cWe\u2019ve made sure solos aren\u2019t left out,\u201d he said. \u201cBy offering plenty of solo cabins, we\u2019re creating a space where solo guests can connect and bring great energy to the group.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Partnerships with leading luxury cruise brands have been central to Destination HQ\u2019s growth. \u201cWorking with AmaWaterways and Quark Expeditions has been incredible,\u201d Ingram said. \u201cIt\u2019s changed how we collaborate and has strengthened those relationships.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>That approach was recognised earlier this year when Destination HQ was named CLIA Cruise Office of the Year. Cruise lines and entertainers are now approaching the company, keen to work with it in the future, Ingram revealed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s been a really exciting time,\u201d he reflected. \u201cIt\u2019s rewarding to work with long-term partners in new ways.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>With the May 2026 cruise already sold out &#8211; and the August sailing expected to follow by Christmas &#8211; Destination HQ\u2019s charters are fast becoming a new staple.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cFor us, the best part is how much fun we\u2019re having,\u201d Ingram said. \u201cWe love working with our partners, and the product sells itself.
