These two new riverboats, sisters ships to <em>ms Andorinha <\/em>and <em>ms Serene<\/em>, were <a href=\"https:\/\/latteluxurynews.com\/2025\/09\/11\/tauck-confirms-two-additional-europe-riverboats\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">formally announced in September<\/a>, but were <a href=\"https:\/\/latteluxurynews.com\/2025\/08\/20\/tauck-intent-on-investing-in-more-river-boats\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">exclusively foreshadowed by <strong><em>LATTE<\/em><\/strong> one month earlier<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Driven by &#8220;exceptional demand and strong year-over-year growth&#8221;, Tauck has released its 2027 program earlier than ever in the company&#8217;s history.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<img decoding=\"async\" class=\"gsbp-6f0a82a\" src=\"https:\/\/latteluxurynews.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/TauckRiver2027_LesAndelysSeine-1132x650-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1132\" height=\"650\" loading=\"lazy\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p>Tauck will introduce a new six-day river cruise format, set to launch in late 2026, and will expand these shorter itineraries for 2027. Offered primarily during the shoulder seasons, these journeys provide guests with the added benefits of milder weather and fewer crowds along Europe\u2019s most popular rivers. (Priced from A\u00a0$5,290 per person double-occupancy, plus airfare).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em><strong>Essence of the Douro <\/strong><\/em>is a six-day journey sailing from Porto to Barca d\u2019Alva aboard the new ms\u00a0<em>Saudade<\/em>. Guests will explore Portugal\u2019s celebrated wine country through curated excursions, including a cocktail-making workshop at a local quinta, a guided walk-through UNESCO-listed Porto, and a visit to the hilltop city of Guimar\u00e3es, often called the birthplace of Portugal. Additional highlights include a tasting at a Vinho Verde vineyard, a scenic countryside bike ride, and dinner at the acclaimed waterfront restaurant DOC (open for pre-booking).\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em><strong>Essence of the Danube<\/strong><\/em> is a six-day sailing journey between Budapest and Vienna aboard the ms<em>\u00a0Joy<\/em>. Highlights include guided sightseeing in Vienna and Bratislava, an exclusive gala dinner with live music and performance at Vienna\u2019s Palais Pallavicini, and a wine tasting in D\u00fcrnstein. Departures are available in October and November.
